    Baptismal Preparation
    Baptism is the first Sacrament of Christian initiation therefore, it is vital to prepare properly for the sacrament. Parents and Godparents MUST attend a Baptismal preparation class before having their child baptized. Please contact Sue Lavergne ( to set up an appointment and a class. If you have Godparents that are from another parish, they must have a letter from their parish priest stating that they are active Catholics and have attended the Baptism class within the last 2 years.
    Confession (reconciliation) is offered at Palmetto Chapel from 0830-0845 and at Friendship chapel from 4;30-4:45 pm on Sundays and by appointment (895-1106)

    Marriage is a sacrament instituted by God where a man and a woman become husband and wife. Couples planning on getting married must contact the Catholic Chaplain 6 months prior to the wedding. It is imperative that the couple spend time discussing and understanding the sacrament of marriage with the Catholic Chaplain who will be the Church’s witness for the marriage.

    Parishioners are invited to participate in the ministries/organizations of Our Lady of the Skies: Altar Servers, Youth Group, Council of Catholic Women and the Knights of Columbus.

    RE is for children in grades K-9th grade. Classes are held at 1030 Sunday morning
    Rite of Christian Initiate of Adults (RCIA)
    Rite of Christian Initiate of Adults (RCIA)
    The main goal of RCIA is to prepare adults who are on the path to receiving the three sacrament of initiation (Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation) and to educate those who want to learn about Catholicism. Classes generally begin in August and end in May. Location and time of the classes are dependent on the number of people participating every year.
