    Catholic Women of the Chapel will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 9:30 in the chapel annex. Children are welcome.  Come join us on Nov. 15

    Singles - SEE4B - White Water Rafting, Resiliency Retreat, July 20-21 2013

    Sign up HEREnow!! This retreat will take place in Bryson City NC. There will be some hiking, games and resiliency lessons with a guide-assisted rafting trip down the Nantahala River on Sunday. The chapel will cover the cost for the event, but you will have to cover the cost for 3 meals-lunch up, lunch and dinner back. We will be camping out at a national park sleeping in tents. You will need to bring the following things: Sleeping bags, change of clothes, clothes for white water rafting-T-shirt and shorts, swim trunks/swimsuit, water shoes or old sneakers, sunscreen and sunglasses with a strap. You will need to have a high risk form filled out from your commander in order to go. Please bring this form with you completed the day of the trip so that you are able to go.  We will be leaving on Saturday at 0730 from the HAWC and returning on Sunday at about 2100.

    Shawsome! Mega Sunday Festival--August 25th, 2013

    On Sunday, August 25th the Shaw Chapel will host a community celebration!  The event will open with outdoor Protestant and Catholic worship services at 10am.  Then, at 11:30am we will have food, open pool, a huge number of activities for children, a music stage, and more!  The celebration will continue until 3PM.

    The entire base is invited and welcome!  It’s an opportunity to kick off the fall by joining together in a spirit of joy.

    Additionally, we will have a music stage featuring musicians from the Shaw and Sumter communities.  Individuals, church groups, even family groups are all invited to play and provide entertainment.  If you’d like time on the stage, please click here!
