Ch Fitzgerald: Team Shaw chapel was just recently notified of winning the Carpenter Award as the best Large Chapel of the Year in Air Combat Command and will now compete for Best in the Air Force. If you are familiar with our chapel staff and volunteers then you already know what I know – that this task was achieved as a team.
MSgt Cataldi: We especially do not want to forget the generous contributions of time, effort, and money offered by local faith communities, civic organizations, volunteers and the buy-in of our local leadership to make great things happen for the aim of serving people.
From Marriage Care Retreats to Deployed Family Dinners to Singles Events, our focused efforts at Warrior Care are making a difference by lifting the spirits and building the resilience of the people entrusted to our care.
Ch Fitzgerald: This summer we will sponsor several 3-day Family Getaway retreats at Camp Wateree, giving military families an opportunity to laugh, play, and pray together in a peaceful, therapeutic setting. Operation Christmas Child is a joint partnership by the Samaritan Purse and Shaw Chapel Singles. Fill a shoebox with gifts for a needy child to share love and hope this Christmas.
